Ok, i'm sure this question has been asked at one time or another on this site, however i'll ask it again just so i get a fresh take on it.
If i were to buy an 17" LCD today in order to do gaming/programming/etc, what would be my top 5 choices? (disregard price at the moment) also, what would be the best bang for the buck?

I don't have a top 5 list, but I'm looking at a Samsung 171p for gaming mostly. Seems to have the best specs but you really need to see one firsthand to decide. It is quite pricey though.

Hard to say what the best is because it's so subjective. I might be fine with an el cheapo 17" whereas you might hate it.
