I thought CBS was suppose to be showing the SEC game of the week in HD,
like the past several years? I tuned in, it's in Lo def...what gives?

Being that SEE BS is broadcasting two SEC games today, perhaps only the 2nd
game (Fla vs. Tennessee) will be in hi-def.

As it is, who can believe anything that See BS says?

I just scanned my TWC & OTA HD 'SPORTS' channels.....

No HD College Football on at this time, although
it looks like CBS my be in HD IF they just throw the switch...

CBS supposedly rents their HD studio Trucks based upon need....

TWC HDNET has NASCAR N live from New Hampshire on....

FOX-HD OTA just finished a Sports Newscast in brilliant HD

No, it won't. The Hi def game is the Home Depot sponsored
game, the first one. And it's always at 3:30 eastern time.
I saw an announcement that the Home Depot game was to be
in Hi def through 2006 or so. Don't remember exactly
the year, but it covered 2004. So my question is, did CBS change their
mind and decide to show all games from now on
in lo def, or is this just a technical
screwup for today? I didn't see any of the HDTV 'decals' I saw
last year, so I'm assuming no more college games in HDTV.
Next week I'll call programming at KCNCDT denver and try to ind
out.

It must be prohibitive or something. Fox took the plunge and got 6.

You figure by now the premium on HDTV cameras and other production
equipment wouldn't be so big.

Being out of town last Saturday..... I think I now

know the College Football HD TV count for Saturdays....

Two: 1 from CBS-HD
1 from ESPN-HD
and maybe
1 from HDNET (too, lesser game)

NFL HD for Sunday might read:
2 from CBS-HD
2 from FOX-HD (plus HD game endings)
1 from ESPN-HD (plus HD game reviews)

1 from ABC-HD on Monday Nite

TN/FL was, indeed, in HD and looked incredibly good! Great game, too.
