Good evening,
I am currently attending a compromised network for a small business client
and I have come up against a stubborn "error" that will not go away.

The message that keeps coming up reads as follows;
C://WINNT/Explorer.exe has requested the Runtime to close in an unusual way.
Please contact application support team.

I have attempted safe mode recovery to re-establish a previous 'known, good
configuration' - to no avail.
The problem is critical as it paralyses the main network server for the
business.

Short of re-installing windows does anyone have any ideas or information?
Any advice would be gratefully received and appreciated.
Regards
A
