OS-windows 2000 server and professional
Issue - Remote installation service (RIS)
I created an image of HP Compaq d220 machine with all the necessary
applications in the RIS server. Then ran the set up of that image on a new PC
with same hardware configurations. after copying all the set up files system
restarted automatically and I got the following blue screen.

*** STOP : 0x0000007E (0xEB81B84C, 0xC000000E, 0x00000000,0x00000000)
INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE
If this is the first time you have seen this stop error screen, restart your
computer, if this screen appears again follow these steps.
Check for viruses on your computer, remove any newly installed hardware
drives or hard drive controllers, check your hard drive to make sure its is
properly configured and terminated.
Run CHKDSK /F to chick for hard drive corruption and then restart your
computer.
Refer to your Getting Started manual for more information on trouble
shooting stop error.

The easiest way to fix this(it happens alot when using ghost to move images
and vendors change systems mid stream of a deployment)is to just run the
install from the cd again, but do a repiar after it detects the currently
installed version of windows. Repair that version to correct the boot device
issue. You will not lose any of yor settings or image changes.
