Video Game + Playing Video = reboot?

So i'm having kind of a strange problem with the new system I built. Anytime I am to run a game, no matter what game it is, and then I play a video afterwards my PC reboots. It doesn't matter what media player I use or what game I play before it. All my drivers are up to date and everything runs great otherwise. You can check out my specs in my Sig. I'm stumped. Any Ideas?

If it reboots DURING the game, I'd suspect your video card is drawing more than your Power supply can handle...

But that's a heckofa PSU so I'm sure that's not it.

Is it dying as soon as you start a game?

It only reboots when I play a movie file AFTER I play a game

Example:

Boot Machine
Play FEAR
Close FEAR
PLAY example.avi
Reboot

If I just reboot without playing a game then my video runs perfectly

Ouch. Sounds like a driver issue.

The only positive thing I can say about your problem... it's repeatable. So now you're free to try one change, perform your routine and you'll instantly know if you solved your problem... man, I hate seemingly random problems. Yours should be fixable with a little patience.

Id say
1.- codec issues
2.- driver error (most probable)

Id say the "overlay" thingie is getting you bugged up there

I tend to think it is a driver issue also. Even after I updated my drivers I had this problem. Maybe I just have to wait until the next update.
