Hallo guys. I have vaio cpg 621L model laptop with docking station. My cdrw/dvd on the docking station cant read media anymore so I cant install windows. I have another desktop pc in my house and have made a home network using a switch, in order to exchange files between laptop nad desktop. I wonder if there is a way to boot the laptop using the recovery cd in my desktop, by sharing my dvd drive in the desktop. Is it possible? I have noticed that in the laptop's bios, there is option for network boot. Can I use this option for booting and if yes, how make it work?Any ideas?Thank you for your time!

Wouldn't it be a lot less hassle to just replace the CD / DVD drive in your docking station? They aren't THAT expensive.
