More Information

First i have to say that i am a complete newbie when it comes to overclocking gpu's.

And here's my problem (sorry if this is reeeally newbie, but anyways):
When i run ATItools V0.26 and i try to increase my core speed and click 'set core' - nothing happens(?). It just reverts the clockspeeds back to default and theres nothing i can do...what do i do wrong?

My graphics card is an ATI x1900gt v2 (R580 XT2 it says in atitool).

//Sorry if my spelling is incorrect, english is not my first language.

Edit: I also noticed that this card reaches a boiling 79 C while under load, maybe i should buy a Zalman before i start clocking it?
