Oh I know, I never had the pleasure of a PIII I went from a P-133 to a K6-2 to a T-bird then onto my Barton. But I'm pretty sure it's better than a PIII

BE happy; you could have been stuck with a 3GHz P4 (like I am at work) I have one of those 180nm 1.6ghz P4's that performed like their asses. Pair that with 256 mb of ram and some cpu intensive programs and you have a winner...

OTOH I only have a 3500+ at home. Budget is a b!atch...

Can you imagine how much fun it will be in a few months if it's true that the prices will drop to that extent? Two quads for $600! Yippeeeee! Now if I can just find a dual socket motherboard that doesn't require FB-DIMMs and doesn't have the current QFX SNAFUs!

problem is the car doesn't have that V12 anymore. Gave me too much problems looking for parts to strengthen the rest of the car. Some other guy had an M3 motor and I just had to have it...Gotta love the sound of a straight six beemer...
