My mother wantes to have wireless internet for her laptop (her only computer), but won't spring for Broadband. The only base station-type appliance I could find with a built in modem was the Airport Extreme. Does anyone know of a comparable product for PC's?

There may be a few out there. From what I've seen you may have to buy an external modem so you can use the serial port that several Router/AP combos have.
