Howdy; I am looking into buying a 1950pro card and I see from my dealer that he has several makes available. My question is, is there a real difference? The makes are:
Powercolor Radeon 1950 Pro 575MHZ 256MB 1.38GHZ GDDR3 AGP 2XDVI-I HDTV Out Accelero X2 Video Card
for $285;
Sapphire Radeon X1950 Pro 580MHZ 512MB 1.4GHZ 256BIT GDDR3 AGP 2XDVI-I TV Out Video Card
for $285
HIS Radeon X1950 Pro 575MHZ 512MB 1.38GHZ 256BIT GDDR3 AGP 2XDVI-I TV Out Video Card
for $287; and a smaller ram card
HIS Radeon X1950 Pro 575MHZ 256MB 1.38GHZ 256BIT GDDR3 AGP 2XDVI-I TV Out Video Card
for $217.
It appears from the photos that the Powercolor card has a much better cooler, appearing like the Arctic cooler. So is there a real difference between the PC, S, and HIS cards? Also, would the extra 256mb ram make a huge difference in these cards?
Thanks.
