asus silent knight air cooler

system is:

c2d e66oo
gigabyte 3d aurora case w 3 x 120mm fans


problem:

installed, removed, installed again above cooler at least 6 times

temps are after warmup mid to high 40's Deg C

temps are at load high 50's to sometimes high 60's depending on outside temp

there doesn't seem to be any difference b'tween stock & aftermarket cooler

after so many reinstalls what else can I do?

get a airconditioner

lap the hsf and reapply goo

exchange.
