hi guys
i have connect 3D Ati Radeon X700 256mb (Pci Express) vga card. Can u guys please tell me which software is out there from which i can monitor the temperature of this card. Please Reply Soon. Thanks.
The CCC is the CatalystControlCenter. It is the program that comes with ATI gpu's. You should have it or you can get it by going to the ATI/AMD site. And yes its accurate
Its also worth a look into Ati Tray Tools, as they offer monitoring graphs for most sensors in your pc. They also offer handy things like forced AA and fixing refresh rates and stuff (most of the stuff they do can also be done in CCC though).
i think my vga card does not have a sensor to chk the temperature. i d/l the ccc but it says that gpu temp is n/a. . if u have any other solution, then please tell me. thanks.
Try ATITool or if that doesn't work either go into BIOS and check if there is an option there to monitor GPU temps. That's not as helpful as seeing it in Windows but at least you can set a high temp threshold for peace of mind.
there is no option in bios and i have installed the latest drivers and also the control center but still i cant see any temperatures of my gpu. any other advice. Thanks.
