Hi all, i was just wondering that i wanted to get the R600 and i want to play PC games (Oblivion) in HD. (I'm a noob) Is this possible? Can i play PC games in HD on a normal LCD monitor? One like this:

Well, HD stands for High Definition.

A HDTV, has a higher resolution than a normal TV.

With that monitor, you can set the resolution higher than a normal HDTV, but we don't refer to it as HD.

thanks for the reply, so this means that lcd monitors with high resolutions will disply hd content same as or better than hd tv's?

Yea.

Any average, modern monitor can display a higher resolution than a HDTV.

unless of course it is a "true" HDtv whci can display 1080p

i don't class 720p as HD, wish marketing people would stop also.

But then the PS3 and Xbox360 wouldn't be true HD game consoles! :lol:
