I have had two PCs with different hardware that have
thrown this error at me Since about a year ago. I format
hard drives, I will install Win2k then install one or two
programs and reboot a few times and then whamo! I get an
error stating that "the file vgaoem.fon error is missing
or corrupt." I've tried reloading that file from the
diskett and no luck. I've not used this pc for several
months because of error. I tried loading Win2k on it
tonight, then loaded Nero ahead and rebooted. I get error
again. I've actually had this happen on three of my 4
pcs.
***** One PC has SUSE Linux on it as my Win2k error kept
coming up over and over after reformatting again and
again. I've even done low level formats that take 18 or
so hours to see if they help. Not a bit. *****
I've looked everywhere for this error and no one can help.
