Downloaded windows 7 on old computet and the monitor wont operated properly

Hello,I down loaded windows 7 32 bit
and everything works fine besides my monitor. I can only get 800 x 600 or lower. I bought on new monitor and downloaded its software but the same problem happened. What can I do to fix this

It's not the monitor it's the video card drivers. Check for Win 7 drivers for your computer brand and model, or check on the video card vendor website for drivers there. If there are none, you need to use whatever OS on the computer that does have drivers for your hardware or upgrade the video card to one with Win 7 support
