Which Motherboard?

Hello all,

I'm planning on purchasing the following parts to build/upgrade a PC:

-Nvidia 8800 320
-2 Gigs of DDR2 RAM


What motherboard would you suggest to get the job done for an 8800? Any specific ones? Does it matter? Thanks.

Depends, will you be overclocking at all? I would go with the ASUS P5B Deluxe or the GA-965P-DS3.

Will you also be using SLI in the future? If not then the GA-965P-DS3 would do just fine.

I doubt I'll be using SLI or overclocking any of the components. I've had bad experiences with overclocking in the past. =)

Oh, another thing how much are you willing to spend on a motherboard?

I'd prefer to spend ~$120 or less on the motherboard.

Then the GA-965P-S3 is the motherboard for you. Good stable board and pretty decent at overclocking if you ever decide on overclocking in the near future.
