hey,
i was using windows ME until recently, when it crashed. i then decided to
install win2k pro, but what i did, was install it next to win ME, on the
same partition of the hard drive, as a result, when i boot my computer, i
get this boot menu which asks me if i want to boot win ME or 2k pro. i now
have removed the win ME folder from the hard drive, so win ME has been
removed from my computer, but i still get the boot menu when starting my
computer. i have rewritten the master boot record and the win 2k boot
record but the problem continues... i still get the boot menu. i have heard
that the boot menu is installed in the boot.ini file on the hard drive, or a
file of that sort.... can anyone give me some advice on how to get rid of
this boot menu on startup??
thanks in advance,
seb
