It would help to tell us what the minimum requirements for ME2 are.......that would tell you specifically what parts you need to upgrade....I mean that's the point of minimum system requirements, so you know what you need.

No I'm not going to look it up for you.

[#0005ff]It seems your graphics card needs replacing. Never forget the old adage, if the box says "Windows XP or better", go for Linux. :D  :D [/#000ff]

HI there;;
If you are building a system that is going to be mostly for gaming them go with a current dual or tri core AMD cpu, and chipset [cheaper] on a compatible mobo , right now Gigabyte is going great guns,do not even consider any cpu below 3ghz,that way you will be future proofed for a while,as for the video check out the reviews around the web,like tom's ,hardwaresecrets,anand,or just enter video card reviews in your favourite search engine,after reading a few you will get a sense of what is what and who to listen to..Hell you might even enjoy it and learn something opportunity abounds.... Enjoy.....:)

Hi Dokk, sound advice methinks, so do you think it would be a replacement of current components

HI Jalexruss,, To continue,, for the most part an upgrade is what you might consider your 3800 is way too slow, when you consider that most graphic cards today need at least a 2.6gh cpu [8800 and up] other than your hdd,sound card,dvd, you might have to upgrade everything else, and of course with gaming one thing just naturally seems to lead to another, as in more [games] is better...:)

Clarification , "no mention of mobo" that is because that decision can only be made when you decide on which cpu you are going with,, personally ,,and for what ever it is worth, I build my gaming system around the video card and the psu, because some cards require extra power connectors and thus use more power than the cpu ever will ,,,[email notification is ON]....:)
