lower part brighter than upper part, is this norma

LCD's lower part brighter than upper part, is this normal?Please give me an answer or show me a thread relate to this subject.

What you describe is an effect of bad viewing angle. That is what you will see w/ lcd's that have bad viewing angle (ex: a TFT7020), but w/ others that have like 160 or 170 degree viewing angle it shouldn't be noticeable, or at least as much. Also depends where you're looking at it from.

Or one of the backlights is screwed.

Is the difference in brightness apparent from all angles?

Thing is w/ a poor viewing angle, it'll also be apparent in all viewing angles. if it was a blown backlight, I think it may look even wierder, but that could be the case.
