Basically I want a bmp file to be opened by a program I have on my PPC. Can
this be done?

many programs, especially image viewers, have the option to associate
image file extensions... check the program's options.

If not, use Resco File explorer or a "tweaks" program to set it such as
pockettweak from http://tillanosoft.com

Tnank you sir.

I downloaded PocketTweak but it doesn't refer my bmps to the selected
program. I think the program is in built-in storage. I am going to
relocate it to base memory and try again.

it does set file associations but you have to have the program location
and name (not the shortcut) correct for it to work.

look at some of the existing associations to see the proper format.

If the program runs when you start it manually, there should be no
reason to re-install it.

Tip... the path to the program is in the program shortcut which can be
edited with any text editor such as notepad on the pc.
