Asus P5N-E 650 SLI owners - Sata ports help

I have two SATA drives only, 1 optical, and of the course the HDD.


I plan on putting the HDD in SATA port 1 (RED) and the optical in SATA port 2 (BLACK).

Is this ok?

It seems obvious to use 1 and 2, but the port colors red/black do not match both the black ended connectors.
