THG's new look (vote here)

Personally I think the new design is way too massy for the eye. It’s what you might call… <pre>not so pretty</pre><p>I doubt the THG will do anything, but submit your vote anyway.

I think you should give people a while to get used to the new design before polling, otherwise you're in danger of getting a knee-jerk reaction instead of a more considered one. My initial reaction is positive and I think most people would recognise that the site did need some form of revamp.

I'll give it a few days and reply to the poll then.

Ya it's too messy. The way it was before seperated everything nicely to make it really easy to fins what you're looking for in the different guide sections on the main page. Now the colored dividers are gond so it makes more effort to find stuff. I don't like it.

well, the color doesn't bother me that much, tho the darker colors are much nicer on the eyes.

I think its good.
I think there are a few things that could be improved on. I agree it is too bright. It needs a little more contrast. Maybe better border definition.

I can't get used to that design. I really dislike it- it's garish, messy, and I can't read anything easily- nothing catches my eye.

or just change it back, the old deisgn imo was great. not hurtful to eyes and easy to read. plus categories were easily discernable.

THG is doing relatively well but it's gotten to the point where the site is getting <b>MESSY</b>.

Also the download time for the homepage takes a bit longer than it used to. (Probably 'cause I haven't updated my little Athlon in a while )

Too bright IMO. But that's just my opinion.
