Gigabyte DS3

2x1gb G.Skill Ram
XFX 8800GTS 640mb
Enermax Liberty 500w
TT Soprano case
The rest ill be keeping from my current pc.

I dont live in the US and cant use newegg and this is pretty much the best setup i can get with my budget.
Im wondering though will the soprano fit the 8800GTS and how will this rig perform at 1280x960.
Also is the PSU good and will it handle the rig?
And im wondering what thermal paste should i go for, AS5 or the Zalman stuff? Im leaning towards the Zalman but i heard it dries up after a while and temps start to rise, can anyone confirm this?
Any help/suggestions will be appriciated.

Splendid
The psu seems a bit small to me. See, a fully built stock 8800gts pc needs 400w 26a whereas a stock 8800gtx pc needs 450w 30a. Plus juice for overclocking if that's your thing. 500w is fine for now, but it'll need to be upgraded again.

I think the 8800 will fit any atx cases except for those that have a raised area between expansion slots. i.e. antec sonata 2:

2-slot cards like 8800/7900gtx won't fit perfectly. The screw will be at an angle.

The Zalman paste is ok. AS5 won't drop temp more than a few degrees C. It's best to use that saving on getting a better hsf.
