I am hoping someone else has tried this, but then again maybe it's too new.
I see that my Mobile Pocket PC has the ability to connect to my work place
using a VPN tunnel. I setup my company firewall to allow access and I can
connect to my RRAS server via the Microsoft VPN client from my workstation.
I can then connect to shares - all is well.
When I use the VPN connection on my PPC, using PPTP, and try and access a
share on the network, (using the PPC File Explorer), I can see myself logged
in when watching the RRAS server connections, but I get the message on the
PPC that the resource cannot be found. I tap that message away and it then
displays that I may not have permissions... bla bla bla... My login account
is correct and has access to plenty on the network.
Anyone have any success with this type of connectivity?
