Is the x2900xtx really coming out on March 30th?

I read on a website(I forgot where) that it was due in stores on March 30th and that the weaker versions were due out in april, is this true? Or is it still due for may?

Well basically i am very happy with my 8800 , so well i dont really care what ATI does now .

Although this is good for consumers as it should bring prices down and some nice comparisons hehehe. :twisted:

How many people have already purchased 8800's and how many are using r6oo as a ploy to grasp a 8800 for scrapeings of the original price(like me),so ya......Bring on the r600,it'll give me a reason to buy the 8800gtx instead of a vanilla 1 ,cheers!!p.s AMD has lost alot of followers,they depicted us as lemmings...and trust me I was a former cliff diver.

I'm waiting on the r600 so it can knock down the price of all gpus. Now if it actually out performes 8800 completly, I might buy it. Otherwise, I'm just waiting on it ot launch so I can buy a new gpu cheaper.

I have to upgrade my mobo anyhow, still on agp(don't laugh it's not funny) , so this doesn't affect me yet. If I had the money and mobo, I'd definately wait to see if it does blow the 8800 out of the water like i expect it to...

Don't get me wrong...there will always be an AMD cpu in my pc for the simple fact IMO have always gave more bang for the buck(at least at my pay scale).But lately with the r600 hold up the 8800 is going to be a poor mans feast when it does release,and thats where I come in...pass me the fork

I know too many nvidiots. I've got a 7600gs myself but would like a nice new ATI card to show them the HDR+AA difference.

My friend got test drive unlimited yesterday for him and myself and he can't understand why his pc won't allow both settings. He wants to put it on coz the game still runs smooth but he can't. You should see the look on his face. :lol: :lol: :lol:
