x1950 Memory Issue

Catalyst cc, ATI Overdrive under the "Graphics Memory Status" the clock was set to 770 (770 x 2 = 1540Ghz). I can't lower the clock setting to 740 ( 740 x 2 = 1480 Default Turbo Setting). I tried lowering the mem clock setting to defaul setting with ATITools when i click set clock, blank/sometime system hangs. Is my card defective...?

how about trying another programme like rivatuner?? Works for me.

you might wanna uninstall CCC and then lower the mem with rivatuner. Then reinstall CCC and see if its back to normal on that.
