Best Cheap motherboard for C2D overclocking

Gigabyte 965P-S3 or Biostar 965PT.

Have one myself and i can get a 480FSB out of it!

I would go for the biostar 965. Best budget board imho. Beats some of the midrange too. Also no need for drivers to get the IDE channel working.

DS3 all the way.

S3 is cheaper if he has a graphics card.

Or you could consider the newer DS4 but i have no experience with that so i couldn't personally recommend it.

Thanks for the replies so far guys, I really appreciate it. I'm checking out your recommendations as we speak. I'm not going to do any massive overclocking, probably try to set it at about 2.6-2.8Ghz with the intel heatsink/fan. I know this is not the greatest heatsink/fan, but I've heard it will do the job fine for someone on a budget.

Is it ok to leave it set at 2.6-2.8 24 hours/day? I will make sure to have good airflow throughout the case. I know having a decent powersupply helps with stablility too.

Well Im running a 6400 at 3.2 all the time on stock hs and fan. 39c temp. DS3 board. Buffalo Firestix memory
