I installed 'morpeus yesterday and took it off today and I am left with
popups now that I don't know how to get rid of. I see they are called
'Solid Peer' or at least that is what is written on the top of the pop-up
window..

Does anyone know how I can get rid of these nasty advertisements? I never
had them before installing morpeus (a downloader application) - so I can
only say it was responsible for installing that on my system.

Anyone please???

First eliminate any spyware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
than just those two programs. CWShredder is also available here:

Oh, Morpheus is responsible for it. I came here looking for the answer
on how it is been done. It has to be a registry setting some where
because it is not recognized as a pop-up or as a spyware/adware.

Just googled Solid Peer. Got this link:
http://www.morpheus.com/MorpheusVa [...] tware.html

They even warn you that it won't uninstall when you remove
Morpheus. Did you even look? I found it in about 2 seconds.
