I installed this patch, MS--24, KB839645 on my Windows 2000 system and rebooted. After logging on, the task bar flashed momentarily and disappears. Desktop only shows the previous background, no icons. No response to keyboard except ctrl+alt+del. The mouse moves but no response to clicks. I tried shutting down and reboot but still the same. Safe Mode gives the same condition.

I used task manager to try to start explorer.exe but had errorunable to find
entry point ...dangerous in shlwapi.dll. Not able to get Windows 2000 back
up. Need Help...
