Upgrade win98se => win2000 problems

Hi Folks,

When i want to update my win98se to win2k, setup is telling
me that "Video card is not compatible with your
motherboard" , setup aborts then the upgrade.
If i do a clean installation in the same pc with a empty
hardisk, there are no problems. Win2k is just running fine.
I Have tried the win98se hardisk in 4 different pc's, but
won't upgrade.
Somebody a idea ??
