migrating win2k dc's to new hardware

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.win2000.setup_upgrade (More info?)

Is it possible to migrate win2k dc's to new hardware while
retaining the same ip's, services and hostnames?

Keep in mind that these servers are running, dns,
certificate services, ldap etc.....and we're a 100% AD
shop.

I spoke with my backup software vendor (legato) and they
said it's not possible and not supported by MS.

Any ideas?
