My question is:
I cant get my homebuilt system to POST and wanted to hear the error code. It turns on for 3 seconds and then automatically turns off. The CPU fan turns on just enough to spin up and then it is the first fan to stop, shortly after the rest of the power restarts.
Does the F_audio cable support the POST beeps? Does that F_audio cable go to a case speaker or does it play through normal speakers?
Here are my system specs:
GA-965 S3 LGA 775
Intel Core 2 Duo E4300
Western Digital 250gb 7200RPM
G.Skill 2GB 240-PIN DDR2 PC4200
Thermaltake ATX 12V 500w PSU
ASUS Geforce EN8800GTS 320mb PCI-Ex16
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE 7.1
Raidmax Katana Case
I have the F_audio cable from the case and the MB has the male connector.
I have that little black and red round thing which from reading the forums, is used as a case speaker.
I have eliminated the PSU, CPU, Monitor because they work in my other system.
I think I am installing something wrong or doing something wrong, because I took the all my parts except the GA-965 MB and put them into my other 775 board. The first time it stayed on and but no Video, when i turned it back on it did the same thing as my first build and started up for 2 seconds and turned off.
My suspicion is a bad Mobo. Any help would be great!
