Have a pc that is loaded with 2000server and is a domain
controller, although it is not running at this time as we
have killed the domain), and I want to turn this pc into a
2000pro workstation. When I load the Pro CD it tells me I
cannot upgrade over a 2000 server. What do I need to do
to make this happen?

Boot from the Win 2k CD, delete, recreate, then format the partitions.
You may have to set the option to boot from the CD before the hard drive in
your BIOS.
