Configuring Motorolla DCT 6200 with Samsung LT-P227W

I am attempting the following with Charter HD cable service:

1. Connect Motorolla DCT 6200 to Samsung LT-P227W through DVI monster
cable for video.

2. Connect Motorolla DCT 6200 to Samsung LT-P227W through audio
monster cables for audio.


Currently, if I set the TV input to DVI, I get video, but no audio.


Any help regarding this issue would be appreciated.

Sorry , missed the second part.I connect to surround receiver,so I'm not
positive, but I have separate audio inputs for DVI on my TV.
