new system or not???

hi.

i´m thinking in order a new rig or stay with what i have; here it is what i have.

asus sli deluxe.
fx-53 @2'95mhz.
2gb ocz platim @475mhz.
xxx geforce 7950gx2
be-quiet 520w
raptor 150gb

and here is what i´m thinking to get;

asus striker
e6600 with tuniq tower ultra
2gb ocz ddr2 pc2-8500 1066mhz sli-ready edition
gamextreme 700w ocz power supply
i will keep the x7950gx2, the raptor, case (therm. armor).

will i notice diference with the new rig overclocked for games???

You would likely see a small performance increase in some apps and games, don't expect anything spectacular, until you get a DX10 video card.

I would wait for the the April price cuts for the C2D's at least, then buy a DX10 video card when you need one.

that is pretty close of what i was going to buy.

so i didn´t make a bad choice.

if i play at lower resolutions that 1920x1200, my rig will be enouth at the moment.
