Unwanted Directory

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.win2000.setup_upgrade (More info?)

While trying to fix possible corrupted files using the Win
2000 Prof CD a new directory branch was created. It
contains 152 Meg in 8 sub-directories. They are:
C:\2
C:\2\IP
C:\2\IS
C:\2\LANG
C:\2\NEW
C:\2\TSCLIENT
C:\2\UNIPROC
C:\2\UPDATE
C:\2\WINGXUPG

I think they were inadvertently created and would like to
delete them all but things are running smoothly and I
don't want to stir up the pot.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this before?
