The HD in my computer died. I will install a new drive and
want to use my win2k upgrade disc. I have the original
win98 disc. Can I avoid installing win98 again and
upgrading it?

Hi kcan,

.........Can I avoid installing win98 again and upgrading it?

Yes you can. Boot from the 2k CD or run it's setup and when asked you'll
be prompted to insert an earlier upgradeable version of Windoze. Slap in
your 98 for a few seconds and you'll be good to go.
