I'm looking to build a new PC in about a month & am hoping the ATI R600 range of cards are availble by then.

I've built many PC's before but have never got into the overclocking scene & thought the EVGA board a good option with its automatic overclocking functions, but its quite expensive.
would you choose:

EVGA NF680i SLI motherboard & core 2 duo E6300
or
a cheaper motherboard & core 2 duo E6600

PLEASE help!

if you want to save money, oc while still not losing the performance get a nice mobo like p5b deluxe and e4300 or e6300, a good after market cooler like tuniq and oc by tweaking bios, althouth it may sound easy never oc with "automatic overclocking functions" as you said before.
