I was watching the chiefs/texans game on cbs hd. You can't see the yellow 1st
down lines on the CBS HD station. When I switch to the regular cbs station, I
can see the yellow 1st down line markers. What's up with that??

I also noticed the HD CBS did not have the updating scores of the other NFL
games on the upper corner. The regular CBS always had the scores on the upper
corners.

This is going to be standard for a while. The HD and SD feeds are
almost completely separate. During the Olympics (on NBC), the
graphics, stats, camera angles and even the commentary were all
totally different from the "regular" feed.
You're lucky the HD feed is run at the same time, quite frankly (the
Olympics were up to 24 hours delayed). You'd figure it would be easy
enough to take an HD feed and cut off the edges for an SD broadcast,
but no... They just double everything and complain about the cost.

It *is* easy. Fox, ESPN, and ABC all do this for their football, and CBS
does it for other sports.
