Hi,
Due to ntfs.sys error, I reformated and reinstalled
windows 2000. This is my 3rd time trying to reinstall
windows because my windows is never stable. For this
occasion, everything went well. Using windows update, I
have already installed all the critical updates including
SP4.
However, sometimes when I start my system, I receive a
message that services.exe terminated unexpectedly and the
system will reboot.
us;315105) According to that article, to resolve this
problem, I have to installed the latest service pack. But
my system is already loaded with SP4. What is wrong with
my windows?

Sounds like sasser/blaster or variants. Be sure to apply these to your new
install before connecting to any network or you'll most likely be infected
almost immediately.

When you view the logged events in Event Viewer in the upper right corner,
third button down is a copy to clipboard, then you can paste in the body of
a reply message.
Please do so for each of the different events so we can see all of the event
detail.
