Is Zalman 600W quiet???

I am building a new desktop system and i plan to use Core 2 Duo 2,13Ghz, a single EVGA 8800GTS, 3 hard drives, 1 DVD player and 1 DVD recorder (also 2 case fans).

I wanted to use the 460W Zalman PSU but i was advised for the 600W Zalman PSU due to energy demands.


My main concern is NOISE. I have read that the 460W is noiseless while the 600W is described as silent.

Will the 600W be noisy when i will be using office applications and surfing the internet???

I expect -and don't care- it to be noisy when using the CPU and GPU at 100%

Please advice....

if your talking about zalman 600w its an excellent psu; however it is not "dead quite".
If you want something really quite, try SEASONIC.
