C2D price drops come 22 april. You can get a 6300 for $183 if you can't wait, then upgrade to 6750 for $183 come Q3. Total $366 - about the same price of the current 6600, minus the sale price of the 6300 (you need one cpu). There'll be a $20 discount for 6300. The rest have much bigger discounts.

Are you gonna overclock it?

If yes, get this ram (Micron D9 chips best for o/c'ing) & o/c it to hell:

If no, get any 667mhz brand name ram. alcattle's suggestion is great.

For PSU, take your pick:

Mouse, there's a free one in the basement. Lightning fast. Very ergonimic. Makes a sound when you squeeze it. You want to catch it? lol. My cat won't kill it cuz she'll have nothing to play with if she does.

Jokes aside, Logitech or Microsoft seems to be popular. Since you game, maybe a lazer mouse or a wired one.
