What is the best graphics card I can get for £100?

Nvidia or ATI I don't care, but £100 is the absoute limit i'm afraid.

Thanks!

AGP or PCI-E? <- very important compatibility detail!

Hopefully you'll be PCI Express, in which case I'd highly recommend the 512mb x1950 pro at ebuyer.com:
http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/119303

I know it's £5 over, but it's massively better than anything below £100, and it's only about 50p more expensive than their cheapest 256mb version, so it's bound to be on offer at the moment. Also delivery is free, which you won't get on most sites.

Make sure your motherboard has a PCI Express x16 slot first tho! If not then you'll need an AGP card.

pci-e or agp???

pci-e:
Nvidia - 7600 gt is around £80, or a 7900 gs for about £99
ATI - X1650 pro for about £75, or a x1650 XT for about £100, you could also get a x1950 pro for £116 (if you can somehow stretch your budget) ( http://www.overclockers.co.uk/show [...] subcat=404 )

They are correct - most of these cards people are listing will blow the no name 300w supply. How about a 7600gs, it's the only card I think you can go for without a new PSU.

Infact - come to think of it, the upgrade I would do to that PC for £100 is a 7600GS and an extra 512MB RAM

I'm assuming stuff will be roughly the same price GBP when you factor in the exchange rate... so in that price range I'd say ATI X1950Pro.
