Some questions about a new computer

Hi all.
I am about to buy a new computer soon.
It will be a 3800+/4200+ amd athlon X2.
I am not a gamer. I play once a while some 3D games, though, and I want to be able to run most games reasonably.
I ask myself, is it worth it to buy the ASUS M2R32-MVP (overclockable, maybe future support ??), or will it be enough to have ASUS M2N-E. I am not going to put two graphics cards together...

Another issue is the graphics card. I thought about something like the ASUS EN7300GS, or at a similiar (might be a little higher) price level. Maybe it will be better to go for an ATI based card ?

One more issue - the memory. is it worth it to pay more for 800MHz, or 667MHz will be enough ?

Thanks a lot !

Thanks for the reply
But, I told you I do play games (though I am sure the games I play are not those who will push the limits on a normal system...).
Second thing I did not told you, I am a software developer. Therefore I need at least 1GB RAM...

I looked at that graphic card, and I think it is a little too expansive for me..

Thanks anyway :)

Sorry
Also,I think it is better have 1G RAM in your pc, even you are not a software developer

But, if you want that graphic card you will not have enough budget for another 512m RAM, only the 1650XT or above can run most games resonably, like the NEED FOR SPEED KARBON

Thanks again.

So, Heyyou, what graphic card can you recommend me that is a little cheaper than the 1650xt ? I know there are cards like that... are they worthless ?

I think a 7600GS would be good enough for you, and I'm pretty sure it's cheaper than a X1650XT. Other than that, go with the 3800+, the M2N-E, 1GB (if you can afford it) 667Mhz, and a 7600GS. But I highly recommend you get 1GB of RAM, the jump between 512 and 1GB is quite substantial.

I have no questions about memory. I would'nt buy less than 1 GB, since I run application servers and IDE's on my computer... (I hope the dual core will be on my side with these applications).

From priceinf point of view - the GeForce7600GS looks good...
