This would seem to be a stupid question but I've seen many others ask it with
no answer. We have several laptops setup for offline files on mapped drives.
We are getting a new server. When this was all started it was assumed the
offline file settings would associate with the mapped drive letter but
instead it remembers the network UNC path, doh. I've read the tech article
from MS on how to reset the settings manually at each station and on how to
use GPO to add new ones but is that really the only option? No registry
option? No scripting option?
