120mm rear exhaust
60mm rear exhaust
80mm top exhaust

I'm a bit air cooling-crazy :D

What cases are you guys using that offer 25cm fans?
March 22, 2007 8:46:25 PM

Mine is an AeroCool ExtremEngine 3T, it's pretty nice. I'd guess that his is an Antec Nine Hundred, also a good air cooling case.

Its actually a 200mm fan :D  ......still huge, but not 25cm.....
March 24, 2007 3:52:08 AM

My last case had so many fans it probably could have flown if the case had been made of balsa wood. My current case (Antec P180) has the following:

2 Yate Loon fans for the top section
1 Original Antec 3 speed in the bottom
1 Intel 6600 stock fan
1 OCZ 700 PSU fan (clearly audible)

I just replaced the fan/heatsink on my 7950GT with the fanless Thermalright HR-03. Big difference in sound. The jet engine is gone and the temps are a little less than before. Expensive but worth it. And pretty impressive looking too.

i have
4 80mm in the front
2 80mm at the back
2 80mm at the top
92mm on the CPU
2 power supply fans

and im thinking of adding a 120mm at the bottem
March 24, 2007 5:20:43 AM

How did you fit all those?I have four of them , 2 Leds front and 2 that came with the case , one top one back and cant see how i will fit another one without having to remove OD.Have you tried the cross flow one?
I was thinking of a Delta 12cm 4000 rpm but it should be noisy.

1 Tunic Tower 12CM
8CM on my 8800 GTS

HTPC

2-80mm
Zalman 9500 Led
Zalman VF-900
Seasonic M12 Has a 12 cm and a 8cm

March 25, 2007 7:16:39 AM

I have 1x120mm exhaust running at 800rpm.

Thats it (well apart from 120mm psu fan). Rest of the system is on a zalman reservator. It does get quite hot, not one for overclocking - opteron 185@2.6ghz, 2gb ram and a radeon x1950xt

Main heat problem is my northbridge (Nforce4), passively cooled with tiny heatsink, can't replace because graphics card is right over it

Three 120mm fans.

One Scythe S-Flex on my Scythe Ninja

Two Yate Loons.
March 26, 2007 5:32:26 AM

Do you think the S-Flex would be good for case fans?Havent tried one yet.
March 26, 2007 7:09:36 AM

Hey, Jodym 2, I have the antec 900 as well. I have heard that the tuniq tower doesn't fit with the side case fan on. But you say you have the side fan on. So were there any problems with it fitting?

It might be that it just doesn't fit on the older version.

Wow everyone sure uses lots of fans but I have a very modest OC so I guess that makes a differenc.

I have 1x120mm Antec led 3speed fan exhausting out back
1 x 92mm fan intake in bottom front of case.

Thats it ! lol
March 26, 2007 4:20:50 PM

I have 6 case fans.

1 250
3 120's
2 90's

Then video n cpu, but i dont count those since ur basically stuck with em unless u want to spend 200+.

The 120's are all connected to a pot, so i can control how loud they get. the other fans are silent.

The 120's are from TT. i believe thunderbird, or thunderblade. loud stupid fans. But the pot took care of it.

4 on the side 1 front 1 back and 1 top. 1 on the heat sink and 2 on my video card, I didn't know if he wanted case fans or all fans.
March 27, 2007 1:33:07 AM

woah, thats alot i bet your case is loud. I have just 2 120mm fans for intake and exhaust and they do a great job of keeping my stuff cool. I also have a nice case so airflow is directed very well.

I wouldnt mind having another 120mm on each side though

I know he had it. I was just wondering if he had any problems at all. Please don't think I'm some noob just because I haven't posted much. But I guess I am kind of new to forum posting. I can't figure out how to get the picture in the quote....

With most motherboards the CPU sits high enough up on the board to be out of the way of the 900's side fan. So i don't see how it would interfear with the Tuniq.

I have the arctic cooling freezer 7 pro, and it is about an inch away from touching the side fan. That's why I was asking.

Thanks for answering though.

Wow. Some of you guys have a total crazy number of fans. I guess I'm not the fan king.

My case has a giant 250mm intake fan on the side, 120mm intake HDD fan in the front, and dual 80mm exhaust fans at the back of the case.
March 27, 2007 1:55:39 AM

2

One 120MM Front, One in back.. Antec P180, Disabled the top fan.

They are both on "medium" speed too :)

Too many fans will actually begin working against one another.

Good, its probably not something to be proud of.. Kinda like one of those little hondas with big wings and stickers all over it.
March 27, 2007 2:20:10 AM

I only have 3 case fans (4 if you include the psu fan)
-120mm fan in back (apevia blue led)
-2 80 mm blue led fans: one on top of case and the other in front of hard drives
-and the 120mm fan on the psu
the cpu fan shoots out of the side through a vent.

My system temps are around 44-43 deg. celsius and when gaming, around 48.
Keep in mind, I have an Apevia (aspire) x-plorer so the lcd readout may be a bit off. However, the case seems fine anyways.

I feel kind of left out since I am not a huge fan-mounter.
