Hi, i recently built a new pc with the following hardware:

e6300 duo - overclocked to 2.6ghz
nvidia 7900gs - overclocked slightly
ocz 2gb 677mhz
p5n-e sli motherboard

It is running perfectly however when i try to run battlefield 2142 on high setting with a res of 1024x800 i see a few random flickering textures if im zoomed out or turn fast, the game is running at a fps above 80 so does anyone know why some textures flicker?

Try setting the NV drivers to High Quality instead of the default quality setting. The optimizations NV uses in their default driver settings cause texture shimmering, enough so that some review sites won't use their default driver settings.
