Spirit mask hunting

Lacking the BP spirit badge needed for one of the accolades, I went
searching for spirit masks. And think I found the only place they are
anything but "extremely rare." (Never saw a one anywhere in several minutes
of circling the cemetary.)

In Dark Astoria, there are two corners in the southeast. The upper one
frames a little walled park with a plaza to the west.

Got perhaps 20 masks in about as many minutes. They'll spawn singly or in
pairs in a mob, 1-3 mobs at a time, about every three minutes if you keep
hunting.

Thanks for the info. I nabbed a couple masks going to and from the
last mission I had in DA. But I need a lot more. I'll try the corner
you describe.

I should have done this when they conned orange/red/purple. That makes
boss hunting so much more fun than when they con grey. But at least it
will be quick (if I can find them quickly that is).

It will not be fast.

My main character was just past the point where the masks were gray when
the badges were introduced. Since I wanted the Archmage badge for the
title (don't care about the power) I had to go back and knock off 200
masks. I got really bored after the first half-hour, but it probably
helps if you aren't a pre-32 controller.

It ended up taking alot of half hour stops there in that little corner
of DA before I got the badge. Something along the lines of fifteen
levels have passed in that time too, plus all the alts. It's slow, it's
boring, and more seem to show up at night than during the day. Actually
it's like someone flips a switch. Night? Every other spawn will have a
mask or two. Day? Clean the place four times in a row and you won't see
anything but zombies and shamen.

Good luck.

Yeah, even as a tanker battling greys (one-shot mostly, one and a half
shots always, no worries at all from the mobs), it's tedious.

The devs really should spawn more mask bosses, in the cemetary mobs at
least.
