Sigh, it appears the ViewSonic VG700 will not have a 16 ms response time as reported here a few months back. ViewSonic has updated their website to include specs for the new VG700:

Response Time: 35 ms (typ)
Constrast: 450:1 (typ)
Resolution: 1280x1024

The response time is actually worse than the VG800 (25 ms) and VG500 (30 ms).

That being said, I'd say the chances of the VX2000 having a 11.6 ms response time are pretty slim. Looks like we are stuck with 25 ms barrier for some time.
