Computer slowdown problems

Hi there i have a problem with my computer,each time i play a pc game (not flash) with 3d graphics, after about 8 to 10 minutes my game start slowing down like hell,first i tough its was a connection problem but i cant even load a MENU correctly.But when i keep playing the game, the game start working normally but after 6 minutes its start buging again.

please tell me whats wrong.

My graphic card is a

NVIDIA GeForce 9100

maybe you are running low on memory how much ram do you have ? i wouldnt run windows 7 with under 1gb and thats without running games and loads of other stuff--use task manager to see how much spare ram you have left when your game slows down
